Project Categories
There are 14 entry categories across residential, commercial and environmental works. Entrants may submit one or multiple projects across the categories that best fit their work.
Design
- Residential Design up to 500m²
- Residential Design over 500m²
- Commercial Design up to 2,000m²
- Commercial Design over 2,000m²
Judging focuses on the integration of design and technical solutions with the site, and how individual design elements enhance the overall concept.
Build
- Residential Build up to $250,000
- Residential Build over $250,000
- Commercial Build up to $500,000
- Commercial Build over $500,000
Projects may include soft landscaping, with judges looking closely at construction skill, planting skill sets and methodology. Green Wall projects may also be entered here.
Maintain
- Residential and Commercial Maintain up to 1,500m²
- Residential and Commercial Maintain over 1,500m²
Submissions are assessed on the maintenance programme, garden appearance and health, and the impact the programme has had on the design aesthetic.
Environmental / Revegetation
- Any project budget
- Any property size
This category recognises outcomes that enhance sustainable natural landscapes through restoration and new plantings, including waterway planting, community gardens, conservation projects and broader private landscapes.
Student Design
Open to students currently studying or within one year of leaving study. Projects are assessed on submitted design plans, response to the client brief, site conditions, creative design solutions and graphic communication.
Entry Fees
